Germaine M. (Pelletier) Lemieux 88 of 1075 Main St., died Thursday, December 9th at the Millbury Healthcare Center after an illness. She was the wife of Achille Wilfred Lemieux who died in 1998. She leaves a daughter, Diane Dainis of Mansfield, a granddaughter, Alexandra Dainis, a grandson, Ravi Patel and many nieces and nephews.
Born in St. Hermenegilde, Canada, she was the daughter of Louis & Rose-Anna (Desorsey) Lemieux and has lived in Leicester for over fifty years.
Mrs. Lemieux was a member of St. Pius X Church in Leicester. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was an excellent seamstress.
Following cremation, a Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, December 15th at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1154 Main St., Leicester. Burial of ashes will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place., Memphis, TN, 38105-1905.
