Obituary

Leonel F. Blondin,90, of 166 Willow Ave., Sturbridge died Sunday, Dec. 12 at the Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Helen L. (Davis) Blondin who died in 2001.
He leaves a daughter Carole A. wife of Richard E. O'Neil of Leicester, a brother Raoul Blondin of Grafton, three sisters Aline Fredette and Rita Bousquet both of Worcester and Beatrice Taylor of Grafton, 10 grand, 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Lee Blondin in 1996 and three brothers Oscar, Rodolphe and Roland Blondin and a sister Doris Allard.
Mr. Blondin was a machinist at Crompton & Knowles Corp. in Worcester for many years , retiring in 1977. He was a member of St. Anne-St. Patrick's Church in Fiskdale, the Sturbridge Senior Center, and a life member of Singletary Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed playing cribbage, billiards and fishing.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Joseph and Clementine (Veroneau) Blondin.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 1P.M. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial wil follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to V.N.A.Care Hospice, 120 thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
