Fairhaven – Julia T.L. (Bouchard) Hegarty, 88, of Fairhaven died after a brief illness at home surrounded by her loving family on December 11, 2004. She was the widow of Parmly B. Hegarty.
Mrs. Hegarty was born in Dartmouth, daughter of the late William and Lydia G. (Braley) Bouchard, and resided in Fairhaven since 1960. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, New Bedford. She took pride in being a housewife and mother. She was an animal advocate for cats and birds, enjoyed correspondence with her family, thoroughly enjoyed the seasons of New England and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Lucille I. Perry and Leona M. Razook both of Fairhaven; 4 grandchildren: April Jean Leite-Gore of New York, NY, Steven J. Perry of Fairhaven, Jeffrey A. Perry of Dartmouth and Abraham Daniel Razook of Ft. Rucker, AL; and several nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late Warren Bouchard, Lynwood Bouchard, Preston Bouchard, Raymond Bouchard and William Bouchard.

Funeral service on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the KIRBY FUNERAL HOME, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.
Interment in Tabor Cemetery, Acushnet.
