Grovetown - Mary Willis Slone, 79, beloved wife of Jimmie Slone, died at her residence on Monday, November 24, 2014 with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Hilley , officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Other than her husband, Mrs. Slone is survived by her two daughters Debi Cook ( Keith) and Sandie Lynce, two brothers, Wilmer Willis, and Willard Willis, also survived by her grandchildren Jeremy Kaczuk, Gia Solden (Greg), Brian Lynce (Teddie), Tiana Evangelista (Keith), six great grandchildren, a niece, Sue Malachon and nine nephews. Mrs. Slone was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Ward, a brother, Ralph Willis and two sisters, Wanda Lewis and Maxine Jones.
The Slone family will received friends at the funeral home from the hour of 1:00pm until time of the service.
