Russell P. Potter, 73, of St. Elizabeth Place, Providence.
He was the son of the late George and Ursula (McIntyre) Potter. He served the country enlisting with the US Marines. He had lived in Providence, previously living in Smithfield. He had been a restaurateur having run George’s in Harmony before retiring.
He leaves his children, Robin Potter of Aspen, CO, Paul Potter of Forest Hills, NY, Sean Potter of Cumberland, Michael Potter of San Diego, CA and Tess Schumacher of Naples, FL, 9 grandchildren and his brothers, Gary Potter, Robert Potter, and Kevin Potter all of Smithfield.
His funeral was private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220
