Mary Beth Brown

Mary Beth Brown, 94, Anderson, passed away on November 24, 2014. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on June 10, 1920 to the late Eli and Clara (Beinbrech) LeFever. Mary Beth married William Duncan Brown Sr. on February 29, 1940. Mary Beth is survived by three children: Judith (John) Carles of Beavercreek, Ohio; William D. Brown Jr. (Mary) of Anderson, Indiana; and Mary Ellen Marnholtz (Allen) of Wausau, Wisconsin; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; her brothers Robert, Paul, and Morris, and her sister Rebecca.
Mary Beth was a homemaker who loved having her family near. She relished the laughter of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and liked nothing better than to bake for family holidays. She loved playing Rummikub with family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed her last years living at Crown Pointe of Anderson, where she was much loved.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Anderson at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 1, 2014 . Reverend Mark D. Helm will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from 12:00 noon until services begin. A private burial will be held at the Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Matthew United Methodist Church.
