Bert D. Blocher
June 16, 1924 to November 22, 2014

Bert D. Blocher, 90, of Anderson passed away at home on November 22, 2014. He was born on June 16, 1924, in Surrey, North Dakota, the son of C.B. and Sarah (Pence) Blocher.
He was a Firefighter for 25 years in Springfield, OH, and later served as a missionary to Japan and Korea and working for Global Missions of the Church of God. He served in the US Air Force during WW II.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jeanne (Foster) Blocher, his daughter and son-in-law, Greta and David Reames, 2 grandchildren, Leah Reames and Sarah (husband Jamie) Snyder, and 3 great grandchildren, Reagan and Taryn Snyder and Silas Reames, and a sister, Margaret Hoover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Harry, Carl, and Frank, and a daughter, Wanda Blocher

Services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Madison Park Church of God, officiated by Rev. David Reames. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 4-7 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service .

Burial will take place on Tuesday at 3:30 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Ohio. The family will greet friends at the Maiden Lane Church of God in Springfield following the Graveside service.
