Mary L. (Squires) Smith of Malden, formerly of Minot St. Reading, passed away on Thursday December 9, 2004 in Florida. She was 77 years of age.
Born in Winchester, Mary was the loving daughter of George Squires and Theresa (Turner) Squires. Mary was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Mary was the beloved mother of Carolyn Healey of FL, formerly of Malden and Everett, and Christine E. Smith of Malden. She was the cherished grandmother of Lisa M. Callari and Carolyn A. Callari. Mary was the dear sister of Theresa Madeline Lyons of Virginia Beach and the loving aunt of Richard Lyons, Kathleen Vormac, Michele Forbes and John Lyons.
A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Wednesday at 10am in the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Reading.
