SMITH, Mary Arline (McGarty) Of Dedham, died peacefully November 21, 2014 surrounded by family at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Edward H. Smith for 66 years. Devoted mother of Nancy S. Bradley and her husband Peter of Norwood, Edward H. Smith III and his wife Michaela of Salem, VA, Jeanne M. Flint and her husband Mark of Hull, Joan F. Colleran and her husband Francis of Walpole, Jonathan J. Smith and his wife Lisa of N. Reading, Elizabeth S. Cramer and her husband Stephen of Stoughton, and Jennifer S. Wilcox and her husband Brendan of Dedham. Cherished sister of Margaret Chiacchieri and the late James McGarty. Loving grandmother of Alexander, Andrew, and Benjamin Bradley, Adam Reid and Nicole Reid VanBuren, Daniel Colleran and Melissa Colleran Winters, Nathaniel and Christina Smith, Jeffrey and Emily Cramer, Kirstin and Matthew Wilcox, and the late Timothy Cramer. Also survived by great-grandchildren Wendy, Harry, Serafina, and Levi Bradley. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.
