Born in Boston, raised in Waban, Massachusetts, she attended Newton public schools, graduating from Centenary College in 1952. After college, she worked in New York and later in Boston, in advertising, marrying in 1955. After moving from Boston to Wellesley in 1958, she spent the next 24 years raising a family, while also finding time to volunteer for the Wellesley Junior Service League and the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Aid Association. She and her family spent many summers in East Dennis, MA, enjoying swimming and sunsets on Cape Cod Bay, and playing tennis at the Dennis Yacht Club. She was an outgoing person, who easily made friends wherever she went. She adored spending time with her family. We are grateful for the wonderful care Marcia received from North Hill Home Health Office, Jackie Donovan’s Companion Care Service, Jo Rector, and Good Shepherd Community Care.
