John W. Sanders passed away on November 15, 2014 surrounded by love and comfort. John was born in Louisville, KY to John W. Sanders Sr. and Isabelle Walker Sanders. He was raised by Noah Henderson Kelsey. He was a member of the Catholic faith, and owned Sanders Vacuum Service, and morning bartender at Charlies Beer Depot for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings, first wife, JoAnn Sanders, mother of five of his children, and a daughter, Vicki Sanders. John is survived by his second wife, Marty Sanders, mother of Martha Rogers (Chris); his loving wife of 22 years, Mary (Coleman) Sanders; his children, Kathy (Rob), John (Anita), Robert (Edie), and Anthony (Kathy); 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Anna S. Kallaher and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00PM, Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy with visitation from 11:00AM-7:00PM, cremation to follow.
