Brown, James Wesley, 85, of Louisville passed away Sunday November 16, 2014.
James was a native of Rock Haven, KY. & a U.S. Army veteran of Korea where he received the Purple Heart. He was retired maintenance for Rohm Haas & a member of the old Valley Station Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ina (Sansom) Brown; three children, Kent Brown (Cindy), Terese Dierson (Don) & Shiela Andrews; a sister, Josephine Moad; seven grandchildren & five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00- 8:00 PM Thursday & 2:00- 8:00 PM Friday.
