Jordan P. Bedard, 20, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday November 16, 2014 while attending school at Merrimack College in N. Andover, MA. He was born in Methuen, MA on March 6, 1994, a son of Stephen and Sheila (Tomkiewicz) Bedard. A lifelong resident of Londonderry, he graduated from Londonderry High School in 2012, and was currently a Junior at Merrimack College where he was majoring in engineering. Jordan loved to play golf and go fishing with his father. Enjoying humor, Jordan was known to make people laugh. Jordan loved helping others, enjoyed being a math tutor, and loved his Merrimack College family. Just recently, Jordan was elected the Captain of the Steel Bridge Team for Merrimack College.
In addition to his parents of Londonderry; Jordan is survived by his sister, Brianna Bedard of Londonderry; his paternal grandparents, Ghislain and Claire Bedard of Londonderry; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Tomkiewicz of Enfield, CT; two uncles, Richard Bedard of Newburyport, MA, and John Tomkiewicz and his wife Heather of Enfield, CT; as well as several cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 20th from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will follow in the Pillsbury Cemetery in Londonderry.
