Obituary


MILLBURY___Norma J. (Bernier) Cimochowski O’Brien, 69, of 7 ½ Sycamore St., died Wednesday December 8 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Her husband, Robert J. O’Brien died in 1976. Her first husband, James J. Cimochowski died in 1971.
She leaves a son, James J. Cimochowski of Worcester; three daughters, Donna R. Snaras of Worcester; Debra L. Burque of Warren and Michelle J. LeBoeuf of Millbury; a sister, Lorraine Wojtanek of Worcester; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A daughter, Darlene M. Harper of Worcester died April 20, 2003. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert J. and Aldea (Lafrenette) Bernier and lived many years in Worcester and eight years in Millbury.
Mrs O’Brien worked for many years and was a machine operator for L. Farber Co., a sorter for Talbert Trading Co., she was also a home health aide and worked for Burger King before retiring due to illness several years ago.
She was a member of St. Brigid’s Church. Norma was very fond of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was an Elvis fan, enjoyed horror movies and her dog Tiny.
The funeral will be held on Monday December 13 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid’s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday December 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
