WORCESTER
Hilda A. (Carlson) Carlson, 97, formerly of Marcius Rd. died Thursday, Dec. 9 in Millbury Healthcare Center.
Her husband of 25 years, John W. Carlson died in 1958. She leaves a son, Rev. Robert J. Carlson of Richmond, VA; a daughter, Dorothy V. Taylor of Millbury; two sisters, Ina Johnson of Cranbury, TX and Anna Lindberg of Marlboro; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Albin and Lennert Carlson and three sisters, Elsa Tyrell, Ethel Koehler and Elna Carlson all predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester daughter of H. Oscar and Lena J. (Nordberg) Carlson and lived here most of her life. Mrs. Carlson worked in the Housekeeping Dept. at Worcester State Hospital for many years before retiring. She was a member of Bethlehem Covenant Church.
The funeral will be Saturday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m. in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
