Obituary

FAIRHAVEN -- Norman Parker, 75, of Fairhaven died unexpectedly at home Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, after a period of declining health.
Born in Fairhaven, he was the son of the late John and Donalda (Milette) Parker. He was a lifelong resident of Fairhaven and a graduate of Fairhaven High School.
Mr. Parker was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He received the Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars, the United Nations Service Medal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. He was a member of the Poirier Post Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was a talented mechanic and was the proprietor, with his late brother George, of Parkers Garage in Fairhaven.
Survivors include his longtime dear friend and caretaker, Monique Coe of Fairhaven.
His funeral arrangements are private. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
