Eleanor (Elley) Baum, of Haverhill & Norwood, died Friday, Nov. 7, after a lengthy illness. Born 59 years ago in Norwood, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Nicholson) Baum, she’s an alumnus of Norwood High. She’s known for singing with and cooking for her large family during holidays.
Elley leaves 2 daughters, Malaika Barr (fiancé Donald McEntire) of Fall River and Jessica Martha (& Michael) Gardner of Wareham, 5 grandchildren, Jacinda Rose of Groton, Kiona Morales now of Fall River, Jaden Lee Croteau, Michael, Jr. and Cali Love of Wareham, and 3 brothers, Harry (& Melinda) Baum of Dennis, Richard (& Joyce) Baum of Spencer, and Charles Baum of Boston. She also leaves nephew Alex Baum and sister-in-law Martha Baum, both of Haverhill.
Visiting Hours are 5-7PM on Wed., Nov. 12 at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St, Taunton, MA. Donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 182 N. Main St, Fall River, MA 02720.
