Peter A. Malley, 62, of Manchester, NH and Wells, ME passed away on November 9, 2014 following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. For 33 years, he was the beloved husband and soul mate of Diane (Courchaine) Malley.
Born September 7, 1952, raised in Westford, MA, he was the son of Nancy (Corkum) Malley and the late Robert Malley. He is a graduate of Westford Academy (1971) and the University of Massachusetts Lowell (1975). He retired June 2014 from the Londonderry School District.
Peter had a zest for life, had a great sense of humor and was a loyal friend. He enjoyed working with children and spending time at the ocean with family. He was an avid fan of all sports with a true passion for the game of golf. He is remembered for being a true gentleman both on and off the golf course.
Besides his wife, Diane, he leaves his two daughters, Caitlin (Malley) Gamache of Milford, MA and Kerin Malley of Manchester, NH; son-in-law, Jason Gamache; baby granddaughter, Evelyn Jane “EJ” Gamache; mother, Nancy Malley of Westford, MA; sister, Paula Malley of Stoneham, MA; and brother, Charles Malley of Westford, MA.
Relatives and friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH, on Wednesday Nov. 12, from 4 - 8pm. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Catherine’s of Alexandria, 107 N. Main St., Westford, MA.
