Philip Noble Bair
Mar. 1, 1931 to Nov. 3, 2014

Philip Noble Bair, 83, of Anderson passed away November 3, 2014 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born, March 1, 1931 in Anderson to James L. and Gwendolyn (Duke) Bair, Sr.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966.

He worked for General Motors 42 years and retired as Supervisor of Skilled Trades in 1992. He then operated Bair Consulting for 10 years.

He was past commander of U. S. Power Squadron; he taught safe boating for 50 years, and was an active member of Fifth Street United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife with whom he shared 57 wonderful years, Joyce (Hawkins) Bair of Alexandria; three sons, Daniel Bair of Pendleton; Anthony (Cindy) Bair of San Antonio, TX; and Jamey Bair of Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren, Erin, Joshua, Kevin, Caitlyn, Caleb; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Jean L. York and Ruth A. Turner and a brother, James L. Bair, Jr.

Services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with burial in K. of P. I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Frankton, IN, with Pastor Mandy Gould officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the service at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be given to, Fifth Street United Methodist Church.
