Robert L. Mabardy of Bolton, formerly of Lexington, passed away on November 2, 2014. He was 68 years old.
A dedicated father and grandfather, Robert loved boating and attending whatever activities his grandchildren were a part of. After graduating from Arlington High School, Robert went on to receive his MBA from Babson College. He was a former professor of Organizational behavior at Northeastern University and graduated New England School of Law in May 2014. He was the President NE/General Manager of the Middlesex Corporation in Littleton, MA and the past president of the Associated Builders and Contractors. He was also past Chairman and Man of the Year recipient of Construction Industries of Massachusetts.
Robert was the loving companion of Patricia Rentschler of Bolton. Loving father of Joseph Mabardy and his wife Jennifer of Acton, Marianne O’Rourke and her husband William of North Attleboro, Andrea Seamans and her husband Jeremy of Lowell and Casey Mabardy of Acton. Cherished grandfather, “Gido” of Allyn, Daniel, Timothy, Megan, Madison, Rebecca and Jenna. Dear brother of Charles Mabardy of Lexington, Joseph Mabardy Jr. of Winchester and Joanne Maloof of West Roxbury. Devoted son of the late Joseph and Hadi (Sakey). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and the mothers of his children, Nancy (Tucker) Mabardy and Paula (Dabritz) Mabardy.
Robert's Funeral Service was held November 6, 2014 at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 8 Inman St. CAMBRIDGE.
