Russell Dent, 93, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Fitzgerald, with Rev. James Hubbard officiating.
Mr. Dent was born December 22, 1910, in Hawkinsville, Georgia, to the late William Cornelius and Margaret Marjorie Martin Dent. He lived in Fitzgerald most of his life and attended the Georgia School For The Deaf in Covesprings, Georgia. Mr. Dent was a former employee of Fitzgerald Mills and Modern Fibers. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Mr. Dent is survived by his nieces: Lillian Dent Benningfield, Abbeville and Marjorie Dent Roberts, Dallas, TX; special friend: Patsy Spradlin, Fitzgerald.
