Ellen Marie (Savage) Bussiere, 96, of Bedford died November 2, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lyme on October 8, 1918, the daughter of Louis and Florida (Langlois) Savage. Ellen was educated in Manchester and a lifelong resident of the area. She worked for many years as a shoe worker for Bee Bee Shoe Co. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person and will be missed by many.
Ellen was predeceased by her husband Normand Bussiere in 1970; one brother, Joseph Savage in 1983; and one step grandson.
Family members include one step daughter-in-law, Pauline Norstrom of Manchester; seven step grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the chapel at St. Augustin Cemetery.
