Mrs. Jane (Dumont) St.Amand a resident of Ballardvale and devoted wife of the late Richard H. St.Amand, died at her home on Monday, October 27, 2014. She was 79 years old and they had been married for 61 years.
Born in Andover, Massachusetts, on June 17, 1935, she was the beloved daughter of the late Archibald and Alice (Horan) Dumont.
Jane was a graduate of St. Mary's of the Assumption School in Lawrence and had been employed as a clerk by the Internal Revenue Service for nearly 25 years. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting the beach and sitting near open fires. Above all, Jane was a very loving and deovted wife, mother and grandmother.
Jane will be missed by her loving sons and daughters-in-law; Richard D. and Lisa A. St.Amand of Tewksbury, Robert D. and Tracy Y. St.Amand of Chester, NH, Randall D. and Cindy J. St.Amand of Alvin, TX, Russell D. and Betsy C. St.Amand of New Boston, NH, Rodman D. and Betsy H. St.Amand of Hampstead, NH, Raymond D. St.Amand of Methuen, Roger D. and Debbie R. St.Amand of Tempe, AZ and Ryan D. St.Amand of Haverhill. She is also survived by her brother-in-law; Dennis and wife Janice of Raymond, NH, sister-in-law Linda St.Amand of Hampstead, NH (wife to Richard's late brother Ronald), grandchildren Nicole, Brandon, Amy, Randall Jr., Jessica, Benjamin, Gregory, Craig, Eric, Zachary, Liana, Jesse, Rylee and Billy, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
