Lawrence – Aline Theresa (Landry) Boisvert passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing & Restorative Center in Lawrence. She was 88 years old and the beloved wife of the late Rene Boisvert.
Born in Lawrence, MA on September 23, 1926, Aline was the daughter of Phillip and Amanda (Gagne) Landry. She attended Lawrence schools and graduated from St. Anne's High School. She then earned her associate's degree from the McIntosh School of Business in Lawrence. She worked as an office manager at DeMoulas Market Basket in Lawrence for 25 years and then as an office clerk at Malden Mills until her retirement. Aline was a member of the Rainbow Club at St. Theresa's Church and in her free time, she enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
Aline will be deeply missed by her 3 sons, Robert Boisvert of Salem, NH, Kenneth Boisvert and his wife, Gina of Salem, NH, and Mark Boisvert of Plaistow, NH; her daughter, Janet McCarthy and her husband, Bob of Lawrence; her sister, Rita Houde of Marietta, GA; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Aline's life by gathering for calling hours at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen on Wednesday, at 9 AM. Entombment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
