Sanbornton----William L. Smith, 71, of 290 Black Brook Road, died at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
Mr. Smith was born July 22, 1943 in Boston, Mass., the son of the late Edwin L. and Louise (Wyman) Smith.
Mr. Smith was a long time resident of Massachusetts before moving to Sanbornton. He had been employed at Unitrode in Watertown, Mass. for a number of years. He served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Conflict.
Mr. Smith was a family man, a go-to-person and a Mr. Fix- It. He enjoyed snowmobiling and boating.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (LaRouche) Smith, of Sanbornton; two sons, Dave L. Smith and his wife, Melissa, of Laconia and Mark A. Smith and his wife, Sandy, of Watertown, Mass.; four grandchildren, Lindsey, Stephanie, Ashley and Samantha; three brothers, Scott Smith of Burlington, Mass., Larry Smith of Lowell, Mass. and Ed Smith of Florida and a sister, Joanne Doubleday, of Dracut, Mass.
There will be no calling hours.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
