WEBSTER –Yvonne F. (Fitzback) Cove, 83, of Dover, PA, formerly of Webster, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Dec. 4, at the home of her daughter, with whom she lived. She was the widow of John C. “Charlie” Cove.
She leaves 3 sons, John D. Cove of Norman, OK, Michael C. Cove of Rutland, and James R. Cove of the Whitinsville section of Northbridge; a daughter, Denise T. Desautels of Dover, PA; 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of the Leandre and Rosanna (Lavallee) Fitzback, and lived in Webster most of her life. She was a member of St. Louis Church and the St. Louis League of Catholic Women. She also received pastoral care from St. Rose of Lima Church in York, PA. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and many other crafts, but above all, she cared for her family and others as well.
The funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 10, from Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the funeral home.
