Eileen F (Jordan) Callahan, 83 of Salisbury passed away on Friday Oct 24, 2014 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Boston surrounded by her loving family.She was born on Nov 17, 1930 in Lawrence, the daughter of the late George and Frances (Praetz) Jordan. Eileen was very proud to be a Lawrence resident and of her education at St Patricks Grammar & High School. She loved St Patricks church.
She loved reminiscing about the old times, her friends, the time she had in school, and her family.
Her past employers include AT&T North Andover, LT Industries Andover &E J Systems in Lawrence from which she retired. Some of her hobbies include crochet, cards, going to concerts and vacationing in Saratoga Springs, NY
She is survived by a very heartbroken daughter Catherine, grand daughter Abby, cousins Claire Praetz & Margaret Cloutier of Manchester NH a cousin Shiela Kiernan of Indio, CA, sister-in-law Jacqueline (Callahan) Pappalardo, nephew Joseph & wife Jeanne Pappalardo of Methuen and niece Kerry Anderson o f Methuen.
She was the wife of Philip S Callahan who passed away in 1994.
She is pre-deceased by her farther and mother, son Philip S. Callahan Jr & daughter Theresa M (Callahan)Gardner.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Thursday, October 30th, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Patrick Church, 118 S Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA
