Laconia-----Peter Barney, 63, of 5 B Champlin Street, died at his home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
Peter was born December 13, 1950 in Melrose, Mass., the son of the late Edward and Edna (Smith) Barney. He resided in North Reading, Mass. for a few years before moving to Laconia two years ago. He had been employed at the North Reading Co-Op, in North Reading Mass. for six years.
Peter enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, travelling, collecting CD’s, music, especially rock ‘n roll, and was an arachnid enthusiast.
Survivors include a sister, Heidi Barney, of Laconia; a son-in-law, Mathew Bientiarz; two nieces, Kristen Phillips and Chastity Bientiarz; a great niece, McKenna Bientiarz and three great nephews, Corbin Bientiarz, Matthew Bientiarz, Jr. and Travis Heintz. He was predeceased by his parents.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
