Robert E. "Bobby" Wattendorf, 49, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Bobby as he was known, was born in Troy, NY on February 5, 1955, a son of the late LeGrand C. and Rosemary (Polaro) Wattendorf. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past six years, formerly living in Stoneham, MA. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam era and was a member of the VFW in Wilmington, MA. He was employed by The GEM Group in Lawrence, MA as a sample specialist. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Travaglia Wattendorf of Londonderry, two sons, Chad Wattendorf of PA, Ryan Wattendorf of Manchester, NH, one daughter, Heather Hekala of CT, two granddaughters, Carmen and Olivia, one brother, LeGrand C. Wattendorf of Watervliet, NY, one sister, Carol Ann Contino of Troy, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 10th at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 - 8pm in the funeral home.
