Dora “Dotty” L. (Pizzi) Baldassari, 90, of Walpole died October 23 in Norwood Hospital; she was the wife of the late Dominic Baldassari who died in 2003.
Born Franklin, September 19, 1924, the daughter of the late Antonio and Carmina (Messere) Pizzi, Mrs. Baldassari was raised in Franklin and had lived in Walpole since 1947.
Mrs. Baldassari had worked for the Town of Walpole school system in the cafeteria for 40 years.
She retired after 30 years at Bird Middle School as manager of the cafeteria.
She is survived by her son James Baldassari and his wife Margaret of East Walpole and her grandsons James and Scott Baldasssari.
She is also survived by her brother Dominic Pizzi of Blackstone.
She was the sister of the late Geraldine Cordeiro.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 28 from the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street, Walpole at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole.
