Obituary

Wilfred A. Landry age 94 of Salem, NH died Friday at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Derry.

He was born in Fitchburg, MA and lived in Salem, NH since 1953. He was employed as an engineer for 38 years at General Electric in Lynn. Mr. Landry attended school in Lynn, and the Deury Technical Institute in Chicago, Illinois and Wentworth Institute in Boston.

He attended St Joseph Church in Salem, NH. Wilfred was a US Army Veteran of WW II having served in Europe and Africa. He was a life member of Salem VFW Memorial Post #8546 and a life member of the Amvets Post # 2 also in Salem, NH. He was a former member of the Salem, NH Lions Club and the former President of Little Saugus Association of Salem.

Wife of 59 years, Anita (LeBlanc) Landry of Salem, NH

4 Sons, Wilfred “Fred” Landry and his wife Pamela of Cheyenne, Wyoming
Edwin Landry of Salem, NH
John Landry of Salem, NH
David and his wife Louise Landry of Salem, NH

Brother, Ernest Landry of Chelsea, MA

Sisters, Rose Ostedt, Doris Witwicki, & Alpha Walling all of Lynn, MA

4 granddaughters, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street in Salem, NH.
