Aurore (Jarbeau) Giroux, 89, of Newton formerly of Warwick RI, died Fri Dec 3, 2004 at Eopch of Chestnut Hill.
Born in Providence RI, she lived in Warwick until moving to Florida and later settling in Newton. She was an avid bridge player.
Wife of the late Eugene Giroux, she is survived by her son Eugene J. Giroux and his wife Cheryl of Jamestown RI, her daughters Elaine O’Toole and her husband Tim of Newton, and Lucille Boutin and her husband Robert of Lady Lakes FL. She is also survived by her brother Ernest Jarbeau of Vero Beach FL, her grandchildren Mark and Jill Giroux, Christopher and Gregory O’Toole, Deborah Cinkus and Jeffrey Boutin and 6 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner on Tues Dec 7 at 9 AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ignatius Church Chestnut Hill at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Needham. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Mon from 5-8 PM.
