Leonide J. Bouchard, 85, of Manchester, NH, died Saturday, December 4, 2004 in Mt. Carmel Nursing Home in Manchester. Mr. Bouchard was born in Frenchville, ME on October 23, 1919, a son of the late Hubald and Helen (Ouellette) Bouchard. He was a resident of Manchester for the past two years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH for over 13 years, and Frenchville for many years. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a founding member of the Frenchville Volunteer Fire Dept. in Frenchville.
He is survived by two sons, Daniel Bouchard of Londonderry, Leo Bouchard, three daughters, Cecile Gardner of Washington, VA, Mary Dumais of Presque Isle, ME, Denise Hohman of Stafford, VA, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother, Romeo Bouchard of Frenchville, three sisters, Jill Bouchard of Southington, CT, Jean Morin of Vernon, CT, Rita Dubay of Savage, MN, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Clothilde (Lachance) Bouchard who died in 2002.
There are no calling hours. Private memorial services will be held at the families convenience. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
