New Bedford – Lisa M. (Pittsley) Sylvia, 28, of New Bedford passed away October 8, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of Gregory J. Sylvia, Jr.
Lisa was born in New Bedford, daughter of Laurene A. (Carroll) Pittsley of New Bedford and Dale R. Pittsley of Taunton, and resided in the greater New Bedford area all of her life. She enjoyed music, reading and most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by 2 daughters: Stevie L. Sylvia and Rhyder D. Sylvia, both of New Bedford; a stepdaughter: Kara Sylvia of Tolland, CT; a stepson: Devon Sylvia of E. Bridgewater; her brother: Corey R. Pittsley and his wife, Tracy, of Fall River; her maternal grandparents: Ronald and Alice (Jabotte) Carroll of Ft. Myers, FL; her paternal grandparents: Robert and Janet (Laventure) Lanagan of E. Freetown; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Friday, October 17, 2014, 9:30-11:30 A.M. followed immediately by funeral services at 11:30 A.M.

Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery II.
