Fall River – James M. Dubois, 69, of Tiverton died Friday, December 3, 2004 at St. Anne’s Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Cecilia (Rocha) Dubois.
He was born in Fall River, son of the late Leo and Minie (Dubois) Lemieux, and was a lifelong resident of Tiverton. He served in the Army National Guard. Prior to his retirement he was a craftsman for various boat companies in the area and he had also worked for Laidlaw Bus Company of Tiverton. He was a communicant of St. Theresa Church, Tiverton.
Mr. Dubois enjoyed flying model airplanes and was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed spending time with his family and helping his daughter with country crafts.
Including his widow he is survived by a son: James Dubois of Tiverton; 2 daughters: Linda A. Goldade of Tiverton and Kim A. Lachapelle of Tiverton; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport, Monday, December 6, 2004 at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa Church, Stafford Road, Tiverton at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment service will be private.
