MURPHY, Brian Edward passed away on October 2, 2014. Father of Rian Edward Murphy and Chanelle Marie Fagan. Son of Ann Marion (Dowler) Murphy of Melrose and the late James J. Murphy. Brother of Jim Murphy and his wife Deb. Uncle of Ryann Elizabeth and Mackenzie Rae Murphy.
Brian was a painter, artist, and contractor. He will be greatly missed by his friends on Main Street, his friends at General Sandblasting, and his many friends of Bill W., including his former wife Janet Carpentier-Murphy.
Visiting hours will be held in the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Monday, October 13 from 9-11am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Chapel, West Roxbury at 11:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private.
