Woodsville-----Lloyd G. Currier, 71, of 26 Smith Street, died at his home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
Lloyd was born June 8, 1943 in Raymond, N.H., the son of the late Herbert and Virginia (Collins) Currier. He lived at the Laconia State School for forty-one years and had resided in the Woodsville area for over ten years where he had recently been living with the Baker family.
Lloyd was a happy and loving guy who eagerly greeted you with a handshake. Lloyd was blessed to have a big extended family. He loved horseback riding, skiing and hanging out at McDonald’s for morning coffee. He had the wonderful opportunity of spending winters doing adaptive skiing which he loved.
Lloyd was a member of Acres of Hope Christian Fellowship and the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast Group.
Survivors include two sisters, Gurtrude Currier and Dixie Woodward, a niece, Shannon Myssar and his legal guardians, Janine Duvall and Carrier Spooner. In addition to his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Herbert Currier.
There will be a celebration of Life, with his friends and family, on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Horse Meadow Senior Center, Haverhill, NH.
