Shrewsbury – Patricia R. (Coleman) Soly, 85, of Shrewsbury died in her home on Tuesday, October 7th.
Mrs. Soly is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph E. Soly; a son, Bradley Trueax and his wife Kathleen of Worcester; 3 daughters, Yvonne Seroter of Worcester, Theresa O’Donoghue and her husband Brendan of Leicester, MA and Jeannine Beahn and her husband Thomas of Shrewsbury; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Patricia was born in Ferdonia, NY daughter of the late Cuyler and Beatrice (Hoisington) Coleman and is also predeceased by a son, Charles Trueax.
She worked for many years as a dispatcher for many local trucking companies. Patricia was a member of the Emblem Club at the Worcester Lodge of Elks. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and most of all spending time with her family, especially at the holidays.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of both Millbury Healthcare Center and VNA Hospice Care for the care and love that was shown to Patricia.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 9th from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia may be made to the VNA Hospice Program 120 Thomas Street Worcester, M A01608.
