Frances A. Romano, passed away at the Neville Center in Cambridge, On Wednesday evening December 1, following a extended illness. She was seventy-nine.
Born and raised in Boston she was the daughter of the late Vincenza (Passanisi) and Eustachio DiMari. Frances was a Medford resident for over 45 years, devoting herself to raising her family and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her three daughters, Josephine Ardizzoni and her husband Joseph of Woburn, Frances Dixon and her husband Garry of Rhode Island and Annette Hunt and her husband Steven of Medford; two sons Peter Romano and his wife Maureen of Everett, Michael Romano and his wife Nelia of Woburn.
Two sisters Margaret and Vera, three brothers John, Jimmy and Salvatore. Also seven grandchildren, Garry, Michele, Joey, Steven, Jeffrey, Justin and Thomas. Two great grandchildren Anna and Dominic.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford on Monday, December 6, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Sunday December 5, from 4 thru 8. Interment will be private.
