Floyd M. Bontrager, 75 , died October 3, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born April 5, 1939 in Elkhart Co. Indiana to Moses J. and Edna (Graber) Bontrager.
He retired from Community Hospital as a Cardio Pulmonary Technician for 40 years.
He was very active in the First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed bowling, yard work and playing with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Claudia D. (Bell) Bontrager, whom he married March 4, 1967 in Anderson.

3 daughters, Janice (Steve) Bireley of Darlington, IN; Karen (Lance) Anderson of Middletown, IN; Catherine (Gary) Gillette of Harpers Ferry, WV. ; 7 Brothers & Sisters, Fannie (Leroy) Mast of Mountain View, Arkansas, Lydiann (William) Miller of Sarasota, FL; Clarence (Lydia) Bontrager of Nunn, Colorado; Alice (Willis) Hochstetler of Nappanee, IN; Vera (Richard) Miller of Thomasville, GA; Treva (Pete) Fournier of Jones, MI; and Gerald (Linda) Bontrager of Ithaca, NB; 6 grandchildren, Richard Bireley and Steffany Bireley both of Darlington, IN; Caroline Anderson and Megan Anderson both of Middletown; Alexander Gillette and Matthew Gillette both of Harpers Ferry, WV; Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Revs. Gary Cable and Gary Klinger officiating. The burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
