WEBSTER – Priscilla M. (Barrett) Cyr, formerly of Golden Heights, died Thursday, December 2, in Webster Manor after an illness. Her husband of 30 years, Harold T. Cyr, Sr., died in 1975.
She leaves 3 sons, Thomas H. Cyr of Webster, Paul J. Cyr of Oxford and Ronald H. Cyr of Holden; 2 daughters, Linda M. Desrosiers of Webster and Cynthia P. L’Heureux of Thompson, CT; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Harold T. Cyr, Jr. in 1976 and a grandson, Kevin T. Cyr in 1995.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Robert and Maria (Poirier) Barrett, and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Cyr was the household attendant at Saint Louis Rectory for many years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Saint Louis Church and its League of Catholic Women. She loved all sports and enjoyed reading.
The funeral will be held Monday, December 6, from Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday, December 5, in the funeral home.
