Michael P. Sloan, Jr., 72, of Worcester died Friday, October 3rd at home. He leaves his wife of 48 years, Patricia C. (Connors) Sloan; a son, Michael P. Sloan, III and his wife, Michele; two daughters, Michelle Sloan and Laura Arsenault and her husband, Daniel; a sister, Rosemarie Goodrich all of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Jessica Sloan, Brittany Arsenault, Tiffany Arsenault, Matheau Sloan, Michael P. Sloan, IV, Norman Fanion, III, and Joseph Arsenault; a great granddaughter, Victoria Fanion.
He was born in Worcester the son of Michael P. Sloan and Julia (Sadusky) Wolochowicz and her husband, Stanley. Michael worked for Norton-St. Gobain as a Kiln Operator for 36 years, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and had a passion for classic cars and cartooning.
Calling hours are Sunday, October 5th from 1:00 until 4:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 3:30 PM. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street at the convenience of the family.
