Debra Craighead Palmer
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, October 1, 2014, Debra Craighead Palmer, 55, beloved wife of the late Robert Palmer.
Mrs. Palmer was born in Monroe, LA, raised in Farmerville, LA but lived in Augusta for the past 33 years. She retired from Kroger as the Floral Manager, a job she loved dearly. Mrs. Palmer adored her family and especially her grandchildren. She was very outgoing, loved shopping, camping, traveling and just having fun with her family and friends.
Family members include daughters: Brandy Maxwell Dean and Amanda Morris; grandchildren: Brandon McDade, Devin McDade, Michael Morris and Callie Morris; father: Bo Craighead; brother: Ricky Craighead; and sister: Diane Craighead. Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her mother: Evelyn Dean and grandson: Nathaniel Simpson.
A funeral service will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will take place at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Farmerville, LA Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
