Virgil Eugene Paul, 82, of Anderson died on September 27, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on August 14, 1932 in Upland, IN to Cyrus F. and Dorothy (Churchill) Paul.
He was an electronics engineer at Delco Remy for 38 years and retired in June 1992.
He enjoyed flying and motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Rita (Johnson) Paul of Anderson whom he married on Nov. 8, 1954 in Indianapolis; a son, Jon C. (Debbie) Paul; a sister, Anne Marie (Dennis) Paul; 2 grandchildren, Christina (Chris) Maddy and John H. Paul II; 2 great-grandchildren, Sarah Paul and Jacob Maddy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Cyrus Paul Jr. and Donald Paul.
No visitation or services. Cremation was chosen.
