Obituary

Ronald K. Brudzisz, 70, of Dexter, ME, died Wednesday September 24, 2014 at his daughter’s home in Berwick, ME surrounded by family. He was born in E. Derry, NH on November 20, 1943, a son of Marian (Fraser) Brudzisz and the late Stanley Brudzisz. Ronald was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He had been employed for over 40 years as a signal maintainer for the Boston & Maine Railroad. Ronald was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed being outdoors and going hunting, fishing, nature walks, and spending time with his girls and grandchildren.
In addition to his mother of Derry, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Lynn Messina and Jennifer Cummings both of Berwick, ME; five grandchildren, including Christina Messina, Brandon Messina, Sophia Jenkins, Hannah Jenkins and Margaret Cummings; as well as his sister, Debra Webster and her husband Kenneth of Manchester, NH; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, September 28th from 1 – 4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial with military honors followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
