Gerald “Jerry” Chamrin, age 69, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, September 20, 2014 at his home. Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, he was the son of the late Leon and Esther Chamrin. Jerry was a graduate of Boston Technical High School and attended Northeastern University. He was a retiree who loved to socialize, volunteer his time to various organizations, and was a Friend of Bill W.
In addition to his wife Peggy, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer of Fall River; two sons, Joshua and his wife Katherine of Ledyard, CT and Joseph and his wife Denise of East Bridgewater; three grandchildren Zachary, Connor, and Ella; two brothers, Stanley of Londonderry, NH and Robert of Brockton; two nephews, Ronald of Ambler, PA and Justin of Londonderry, NH.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. Brockton Saturday September 27, from 11 to 2pm followed by a memorial service at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the charity of one’s choice.
