Evelyn L. (Garon) Roux, 81, of Manchester, died November 29, 2004 at a local health care facility after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on May 3, 1923, the daughter of Wilfred and Roseanna (Caron) Garon. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to her retirement, she had been a technician with Unicare.
She was a former communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She loved gardening and was an avid seamstress.
Her husband Roland A. Roux died in 2002.
Members of her family include her two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Lori) Turner of Hooksett and Patricia Peters of Deering; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; two brothers Raymond Garon and Roland Garon, both of Manchester; two sisters, Jeannette Cushing of Manchester and Theresa Brown of FL; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The funeral service was Friday December 3, 2004 in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
