PANTOS, Despina (Malakos) Of Newton and Haverhill, Sept. 19. Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Pantos. Loving mother of Spiros Pantos of Newton, Kirk Pantos of Jamaica Plain, Pamela A. Pantos of Etna, NH, Grandmother of Xenia, Duncan, Juan-Carlos & Sophia. Despina was a graduate of Wellesley College Sigma Xi, after graduation she was a Physicist at the Army Laboratories. Retired Director of Pantos Canvas Corp. of Waltham, She was an award winning master needle pointer and was a devoted member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
Funeral service in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston, Monday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. Visitation prior to service in the Church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Relatives & friends kindly invited. Interment Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Despina's memory to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
