Obituary

WEBSTER – Nancy C. (LaRose) White, 56, of 6 Asselin Avenue, died Sunday, November 28, at UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She leaves her husband and best friend, John F. White; 3 daughters, Melissa A. Latour and her husband Paul J. of Webster, Shannon M. Spitz and her husband George F. of Webster, and Jennifer L. White of Putnam, CT; her father, Nelson J. LaRose of Webster; a sister, Norma C. LaRose of Woodstock, CT; 4 grandchildren, Sydney and Sage Latour and Ryan and Victoria Nancy Spitz; and 2 nephews, Kristopher and Nathan Bernier. Her mother, Therese A. (Auger) LaRose, died in 1988.

She was born and raised in Putnam, and lived in Webster since 1977. She graduated as an honor student from Putnam High School in 1966, and earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport.

Mrs. White was a dental hygienist for Dr. John F. Kalinowski in Dudley for many years, retiring in October, 2003, because of illness.

She was a member of Saint Louis Church and the Massachusetts State Dental Association. She enjoyed taking cruises with her husband and family. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 1, from Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday, November 30, at the funeral home.
