Goffstown– Russell H. Prive, 75, died September 13, 2014 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on October 3, 1938 the son of Herman and Evelyn (Hall) Prive.
He was a graduate of Manchester West High School where he and a friend started P & M Photography.
He served his country in the US Air Force. He was a Master plumber and electrician and owned and operated Prive & Sons Construction.
He held membership in the Bedford Lions Club.
Family members include his wife of 48 years, Claudette (Babineau) Prive of Bedford, 4 sons, Royce O. Prive of Bedford, Kevin Prive and his wife, Patricia, Kerry Prive and his wife Sia of Tarpon Springs, FL., Dana Prive and his wife, Cookie of Goffstown, 2 grandchildren, Nikolai and Dominick, 2 step grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild, 2 brothers, Royce J. Prive and his wife, Darlene of Londonderry, Thomas Prive and his wife Virginia of Merrimack, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will take place on October 3, 2014 at 12 Noon in NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
